Never Give Up

I'm one month old as a missionary and my trainer sarcastically says, "17 months ka na lang" hahaha :)) but no, I don't want to go home and I love being here. I have no regrets being a missionary! There were challenges this week but there are still miracles in every corner that blossoms from faith. It's amazing. We have finally two investigators with baptismal dates. Each of them has a very interesting story and we are praying for them.

Something I learned this week is to never give up. Never give up on ourselves, on our loved ones, and on others. Why? Because you have the capacity to love them. Never give up on someone like how my parents never gave up on me for being a 'wayward' child before and that exactly goes the same with how our Heavenly Father who never gives up on us, on each of us. He sees us on who we can become. He loves us that He gave His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to atone for all of our sins. I am forever grateful for that. I hope and pray you acknowledge our Savior and what He has done for each of us and that you may look at others and judge them not instead find the rudiments in them that they are a child of God. Everyone deserves to be loved. Never give up on them, have faith, and pray with all energy of heart.

Alma and the sons of Mosiah are some of my my favorites in the Book of Mormon. They are great missionaries and are great examples of repentance, faith, obedience, and courage! I've learned so much from them. :)
