We Live by Faith, Not by Sight

Hi there! I'm still in my second area with my 5th companion, Sister Cubelo who is from Palawan. She's also my MTC batchmate. I love her and we are learning so much from each other. Her energy bubble is so hyped and she's very diligent! Guess what, she just got into the waters of baptism two years ago! Amazing girl, huh? We may be very different but we have one common purpose here which we are united and that is to"Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end" .

So, let's first talk about Faith. Alma 32:21 defines it:
21 And now as said concerning faith—faith is not to have perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.

God sent us here on earth to test our faith. That is why, we live by faith, and not by sight. Would you agree with me if I say that everyday our faith in Him is put into test? Yes, it is and it is really necessary to have faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ for because of Him, everything's made possible. Trust in Him, in His gospel and in His power.

I testify that the greater obedience we have to God's laws, the greater endowment of faith. The success we have here is directly proportional to our faith and effort which should always be an ongoing process. Faith precedes miracles! My companion and I are doing great. We have been stretching our faith more and more each day! It's so fun!

"There are two kinds of faith. One of them functions ordinarily in the life of every soul. It is the kind of faith born by experience; it gives us certainty that a new day will dawn, that spring will come, that growth will take place. It is the kind of faith that relates us with confidence to that which is schedule to happen.
There is another kind of faith, rare indeed. This is the kind of faith that causes things to happen. It is the kind of faith that is worthy and prepared and unyielding, and it calls forth things that otherwise would not be.  It is the kind of faith that moves people. It is the kind of faith that sometimes moves things. Few men possess it. It comes by gradual growth. It is a marvelous, even transcended, power, a power as real and as invisible as electricity. Directed and channeled, it has great effect". -Boyd K. Packer

Faith is the very first principle in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We should be reminded by it daiyly.

Continue to build and nourish your faith each day! Have a great week!

Love,
Sister Posadas
